HH Bhakti Purusottama Swami joined ISKCON in 1978 and has been serving ISKCON since then in various capacities. Currently he is serving as GBC for East India, North East India, Bangladesh, Nepal and South Korea. He is based in Sri Mayapur Dham and travels around the world preaching Krsna Consciousness. He is disciple of HH Jayapataka Swami.

 To celebrate the Jagannatha Ratha Yatra weekend in Washington, DC., SriNandanandana dasa (Stephen Knapp) will show his slides of the Ratha Yatra in Jagannatha Puri. This will include over 200 photos of various stages of the festival, from the Deities coming out of the temple, being placed on the carts, the parade and kirtans, including Iskcon devotees, the return trip from the Gundicha temple, and the powerful darshan of their Lordships in the Suna Vesha or Golden Outfit.
